The Story Behind the Semi-colon

Grammatically, a semi-colon connects two independent clauses that are linked in meaning; often the second clause intensifies the statement in the first. This has become a metaphor for suicide prevention, encouraging those who believe their life cannot continue that there is more to come.

SpiritWood created the above pendants as part the Cream City Tattoo Semi-colon event in February 2019 and donated 50% of each sale to The Beautiful Mind Project. Because of the response, sale of this design and donations to The Beautiful Mind Project will continue through February 2020 at which point this design will be retired and a new design created for the 2020 event.
